Is hosting included in the offers?
Only test hosting, accessible after authentication, is included. However, an offer can be included on Teknoo's infrastructure or on a third-party host.
What are the differences between non-regression and functional tests?
Non-regression tests check if the output of various functionalities is not altered after an update. Functional tests ensure that these outputs conform to the specifications. Functional tests represent a conversion of specifications into tests.
What does 'security updates' mean?
This includes the application and provision or deployment of security patches, whether for third-party components or in the code delivered following the discovery of vulnerabilities or security issues.
What does support correspond to?
Support includes all resolution and correction of bugs or issues with the implementation of the specifications in the delivered application.
What does 'Third-Party Application Support' include?
Updating the components used within the application to keep the technical debt as low as possible.
Who owns the deliverables and the code?
Apart from the third-party components used (including those from Teknoo), ownership of the code and deliverables is transferred to you after full payment of the services, excluding any hosting or maintenance services.
Is AI used to generate applications?
When AI is used, it is only in the form of advanced auto-completion or as a replacement for macros. A human remains fully responsible for the design, changes, and implementation. AI is only used to automate tasks that have no added value or as asistant, like other tools : PHPStan, Rector, Behat .
Can we have examples of the number of units for a project?
For example, a secure database query application would require 1 unit for a prototype, 3 units for an MVP, and 8 units for the highest-level package. A CRUD application (create/read/update/delete), such as a tool for managing client records and subscriptions, would require between 1 and 2 units depending on the chosen offer.
Is a specification document necessary?
An initial meeting lasting one to two hours is required. For large projects, a specification document is mandatory. For small prototypes or MVPs, this initial meeting may suffice. If you are unable to provide a specification document, we can assist you in creating one (charged between €500 and €2000).
